My two favourite school sports were rugby and cricket and I was fortunate enough to represent the school at the highest level for many years. These photographs reflect a very special time in my rugby career at school, during which I was selected to play for West Sussex and Sussex at colts and senior level, as well as for the full 'men's Sussex team.

I was coached by the best, played with the best, and we had the best team around in those days. We also saw the introduction of the horizontal hooped jerseys during Rod Sealy's time. Our team spirit was of the highest. Ah, such good memories of those wonderful days.
