Thank you for your enquiry re ‘Bogey’ Murch – much loved Biology teacher when I was in 5U.
Please see his memorial plaque in Tangmere Museum garden. The OCs had a summer visit there.

Not sure. His spectacles and facial appearance might have been an echo of the ‘bogeyman’

Fond memories of the Scout Cars he made each year for the annual Soapbox Derby, and I think they won each year. Components made from Stirling bomber parts. Best wishes and thanks. Ken
For many years I worked for the local paper and met him many times. The Scout cars had noted world publicity, I wonder if any survived? Best wishes. Ken
