Old Thorntonians

Many of you will already know that during the Second World War Henry Thornton School was evacuated from South London to Chichester and shared premises with The High School for Boys. Two of the masters who came with the school stayed on at the end of the war and many will remember Mr Collins and Mr Haill. Jimmy Hill, footballer and pundit, was also evacuated to our school; he died on 19 December, 2015. There have been several visits by Old Thorntonians over the years and this link will take you to one in 2008-2009:
