I have the sad duty of reporting the death of our friend Colin Hayward, a “Chi High” pupil from 1944 to 1949. Colin was a native of Littlehampton, and worked for the greater part of his life as a Public Health Inspector – first for Worthing Borough Council and later for Adur District Council. Colin passed away very, very peacefully at 02:20 on the 23rd April at the Old Rectory Nursing Home, Langton Matravers, Dorset.
