The Portsmouth Demolition Co have now decamped but their last action was to cut a viewing hole through the hoarding to enable their handiwork to be admired by passers-by in Kingsham Road.
The attached photo was taken through the same and in the foreground can be seen the site of one of the air raid shelters which seems to have been imploded into its own pit.
