Last days now for the school buildings

The gym and air-raid shelters have gone and the site is rubble-strewn. The only building still intact is the Woodwork room. Perhaps half term and a road closure would facilitate this final demolishment.  

A Trip Down Memory Corridor

At the 2021 Christmas lunch, Alan Green gave us a post-lunch presentation of the history of the Chi High buildings. Very apt now as the buildings are being demolished. Dr Patrick Flynn 21/12/29 – 26/04/2021

We have learnt that Dr Patrick Flynn, distinguished scientist and Chi High old boy died in 2021.  Patrick published a book in a variety of editions of his memories of life at the school. Please find a tribute to Patrick from information supplied by his daughter, Geraldine.
